Philippe Ryfman is associate Professor and Researcher at Paris-La Sorbonne's Political Science Department (Université Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne), and Sorbonne's Political Research Center (CRPS). Former director and co-director of the Master (M2-Professional)"International Cooperation, Humanitarian Action & Development Policies" (CIAHPD) and DESS "Development, International Cooperation and Humanitarian Action" (DCAH). Since 2005, he is in charge for the NGO and Humanitarian focus of the Master. Also lawyer at the PARIS Bar and expert-consultant for NGOs and International Organizations. For more details, see CV. His research topics are relating to various NGO's communities from North and South as well as International NGO's ; their role in international relations ; various players in humanitarian action ; non-governmental diplomacy and also various aspects of the Humanitarian International Law (IHL).
